◭ What does Rushi do about the risks of red sichuan peppers during pesticide residues, preliminary processing and storage?


1. Procurement link

(1) Regular testing of the inner film bag: Regular testing twice a year, the use of tested and qualified safety packaging bags.

(2) replacement of safe bags: In early acquisition, timely replacement of the inner film bags and woven bags in the form of packaging storage in line with national food safety requirements to reduce the risk of plasticizer brought into sichuan pepper.


2. Processing links

(1) Raw materials to the plant sampling inspection: Each batch of raw materials acquired to the plant, in accordance with “GB/T 12729.2-2020 spices and condiments sampling methods” sampling for internal or external inspection, the assessment of the test indexes are summarized and entered into the system.

(2) Selection processing: Rushi has independently developed the 9-step purifying selection process and the 27-pass filtration technology to remove impurities, foreign objects, metals, pollutants in the raw materials, further improving the purifying selection rate of raw materials to 99.5%.

3. Storage

(1) Sorting and stacking: Sorting and stacking raw materials to reduce the risk of tampering and avoid contact with toxic and harmful substances.

(2) Low temperature storage: -10-0℃ large-capacity cold storage for quality preservation, effectively reducing the loss of active ingredients of sichuan pepper, so that the quality of sichuan pepper reaches a relatively stable state.


4. Regular Quality Inspection

Select a batch of raw materials from each origin, take samples separately and store them under room temperature and refrigerated conditions. Regular monthly sensory and physicochemical index (volatile oil, hemp) testing, and monthly testing data will be organized and filed.

2022 is a good harvest year for red sichuan pepper, the total production of red sichuan pepper increased by 15%-20% compared to 2021, but the overall quality of sichuan pepper (such as color, particle size, etc.) is slightly worse than last year. In August 2022 , the weather is abnormal, a long period of drought on the growth of sichuan pepper trees have a certain impact, is expected to reduce the production of red sichuan pepper next year.
